Welcome to Michelle Kellogg Fitness

My name is Michelle Kellogg and I’m here to help you make changes to be a better, healthier you!  I have been a Christian athlete since a young age. I have always enjoyed helping people on an individual or small group level. My personal fitness journey started in junior high, where I became involved with cheerleading, cross country, indoor and outdoor track.  My true love however was soccer.  I loved the running, and I played all throughout high school and college.

After obtaining a postgraduate degree in School Psychology, I continued to to be active- competing in marathons, triathlons, and even a 40k ski tour of Anchorage, Alaska!  I loved getting outdoors and pushing myself as hard as I could go- however, over time I realized that I had become physically unbalanced. I love working out, sweating, and getting my endorphins going, but never took the time to properly stretch and let my body heal. As a result, I was forced to stop running in 2008 and had to pay a lot of attention to maintaining my body so that I could continue to work out with the intensity that I love. I became a 500 hour nationally certified yoga instructor, teaching and practicing Christ based yoga, and often used this time to pray and meditate, gaining the benefits of a gentler more healing approach to fitness. While yoga was a real stress reliever from my full time job (that I hated), it didn’t provide the whole fitness spectrum of what I needed.

In 2010 I was introduced to Beachbody Coaching. Being a coach has changed my life by making be accountable to people and is by far the best way that I have found that helps me to stay motivated to maintain and heal my body. I was already acting like a coach way back then, even though I didn’t know it at the time- always trying to get my coworkers to do Turbo Jam or some other workout program, and I loved encouraging people to live more active lifestyles and get into better shape.  As a new Beachbody Coach, I was introduced to Shakeology, and within 3 months dropped from a size 7 to a size 2- without changing my workout routine at all.

Since then I have been blessed to be able to help build a wonderful team of hundreds of coaches that have influenced literally thousands of people- and I am making a real difference in people’s lives, both physically and financially. Over the last 5 years I have been able to quit my full time job, bring my husband home from his job as a commercial pilot, pay off all our debt, and we now work together from home on our schedule, being our own bosses.  It is such a blessing that we are also both able to stay home to raise our daughter and be present in her life.

I have done Beachbody programs such as P90X, Tai Cheng, Focus T-25, 21 Day Fix, the Ultimate Reset, and the majority of the other Beachbody workouts at one time or another. I am P90X and Insanity Certified, along with being a 500 hour Yoga and 95 hour Holy Yoga certified Instructor. My fitness background has given me a strong foundation both physically and nutritionally, and I love how Beachbody programs truly are the total package when it comes to fitness because they are so balanced. Our lives have changed dramatically over the last few years and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to coach. It has been been a wonderful and challenging ride, and we feel incredibly blessed to be able to do what we do.

In a nutshell, I am a child of God seeking to do His will by being what he made me to be.  I have found my purpose, and it is to help others, by learning to love as He has made us to love!  SMILES!!
